About Five Lantern Press

A small family press in the heart of Georgia. Five boys, one open book, and a kitchen table that's almost always sticky.

The Five Lantern Press family — mom, dad, and five boys
our whole crew
From our table to yours

I'm a homeschool mom of five boys, living in the heart of Georgia.

Life at our house is a beautiful mix of seasonal gardening, constant learning, and the inevitable "organized chaos" that comes with a big family.

Five Lantern Press was born right here at my kitchen table. I started creating these resources because I realized so many educational books and journals felt a bit stuffy. They didn't quite fit the way we actually live. With stray crayons and Cheerios on the floor, muddy boots by the door, and a real need for tools that are as practical as they are purposeful.

What we believe in

We don't do "picture perfect" here. We do real life.

Three little promises that shape every book and printable we make.

For the Kids

Fun that teaches.

We make fun that actually teaches something, designed to keep little hands busy so you can take a breath. Or sneak a piece of chocolate (that you totally deserve).

For the Heart

Quiet moments, on purpose.

Whether it's a study journal for Latter-day Saints or a creative coloring book, we believe in carving out quiet moments for reflection and growth, the kind that feel like a deep breath at the end of the day.

For the Home

We respect your time.

We create products that respect your time and spark curiosity, without the overwhelm. Practical, purposeful, and never "one more thing" on the list.

The name

The Five Lanterns

People often ask about the name. To us, the lanterns represent a bit of light for each of my five sons.

Our goal is to share that light with your family by providing resources that help you navigate the journey of homeschooling, faith, and creativity. One page at a time.

thank you for supporting our family business ♥

The promise

We're glad you're here.

  • Real, not perfect.
We're busy, we're loud, we're just doing our best.
  • Made during naptime.
Honest about its origins; built for the same hours.
  • Family-shaped.
Designed for messy living rooms, not Pinterest co-ops.
  • Quietly warm.
    Faith-friendly, broadly welcoming, never preachy.
