About Five Lantern Press
A small family press in the heart of Georgia. Five boys, one open book, and a kitchen table that's almost always sticky.
one open book
I'm a homeschool mom of five boys, living in the heart of Georgia.
Life at our house is a beautiful mix of seasonal gardening, constant learning, and the inevitable "organized chaos" that comes with a big family.
Five Lantern Press was born right here at my kitchen table. I started creating these resources because I realized so many educational books and journals felt — well, a bit stuffy. They didn't quite fit the way we actually live. With stray crayons and Cheerios on the floor, muddy boots by the door, and a real need for tools that are as practical as they are purposeful.
We don't do "picture perfect" here. We do real life.
Three little promises that shape every book and printable we make.
Screen-free fun that teaches.
We make screen-free fun that actually teaches something — designed to keep little hands busy so you can take a breath. Or sneak a piece of chocolate (that you totally deserve).
Tools that respect your time.
We create unit studies and planners that respect your time and spark curiosity — without the overwhelm. Practical, purposeful, and never "one more thing" on the list.
Quiet moments, on purpose.
Whether it's an LDS study journal or a creative coloring book, we believe in carving out quiet moments for reflection and growth — the kind that feel like a deep breath at the end of the day.
The Five Lanterns
People often ask about the name. To us, the lanterns represent a bit of light for each of my five sons.
Our goal is to share that light with your family — providing resources that help you navigate the journey of homeschooling, faith, and creativity. One page at a time.
